Canning Truck Service was founded during the Depression years, in 1933, by Fairbury native Gerald Canning. His first truck was a 1927 Model T, with which he hauled local freight. Over the years, the company has grown to a fleet of 30 trucks and is a trusted name in trucking industry in southeast Nebraska and northeast Kansas. Canning is known for its integrity, excellent service, on-time delivery and courteous drivers.
